PLDA Celebration of Light 2010

This year’s PLDA Luminale evening event will take place in the church youth centre ‘sankt peter, Stephanstr. 6, 60313 Frankfurt am Main’. The Celebration of Light is the international lighting designers’ event of the year. The inspiring venue offers an opportunity to relax and socialise with up to 700 colleagues from the lighting design community from around the world. The theme of the evening focuses on young architectural lighting designers and their creativity*.
Drinks and snacks will be provided, as well as the opportunity to celebrate light on the dance floor!
Koert Vermeulen, PLDA director of ACT in Belgium is responsible for the interior lighting concept for the Celebration of Light evening event.

*An exterior architectural lighting competition will be held prior to the Celebration of Light event and the exterior of the church will be illuminated for the duration of Luminale. The best designs from the “Architectural Lighting Design Competition” will be displayed inside the church; the winning design will be realised.
